/ Wildlife Photographer
Born in 1951. Moved to
Rausu as a freelance wildlife photographer. He has been working in Shiretoko as
the main field, and is well know by the file style of capturing powerful
moments of lives. He devote himself for video works recently.
●Seki Katsunori/ Underwater Photographer
Born in 1954. He maintained a well-documented obsession
with Rausu until he moved here in 1989. At the same year, he started a company
“Shiretoko Diving Project”. He is an expert diver who has established a method
of the drift ice diving in Japan. He generally dives and takes water photographs at
many spots of the sea of Okhotsk.
